🔒 Short version: Your IQ results, age, and name stay on your device only. We never upload your personal data to any server. The only third-party data collection comes from Unity Ads, which helps keep the app free.

Maxxer IQ ("we," "our," "us") is a mobile application that provides IQ assessment tools for entertainment and educational purposes. For privacy questions, contact us at the address listed at the bottom of this page.

All of the above is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
3. Third-Party Services
Unity Ads
We use Unity Ads to display advertisements that help keep Maxxer IQ free. Unity Ads may collect:
- Device identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
- IP address and general location
- Ad interaction and performance data
- Device type, OS version, and language settings
Unity Ads is governed by Unity's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
4. How We Use Information
- To calculate and display your IQ score using age-normalized tables
- To personalize your in-app greeting
- To display your historical test results within the app
- We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to any third party. Your profile data never leaves your device. The only external data flow is Unity Ads as described above.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
All data is stored on your device and can be deleted at any time using the "Reset All Data" option in the app's Settings. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
7. Children's Privacy
Maxxer IQ is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Access: All your data is visible to you directly within the app
- Deletion: Use "Reset All Data" in Settings to delete all stored data
- Opt-out of personalized ads: Via your device OS settings
- GDPR (EU users): You have the right to erasure, portability, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority
- CCPA (California users): You have the right to know and delete personal information we hold
9. Security
Since your data is stored locally on your device, its security is governed by your device's built-in security features (PIN, Face ID, etc.). We do not transmit your data, so there is no server-side security risk.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

By downloading, installing, or using Maxxer IQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App
- Users in the European Economic Area must be at least 16 years of age
- By using the App, you represent that you meet these age requirements
- If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you must have parental consent
3. Nature of the App – Important Disclaimer
Maxxer IQ is designed for entertainment and educational purposes only. The IQ scores generated by this app:
- Are estimates based on a limited question set and should not be considered clinically accurate
- Are not a substitute for professionally administered psychological assessments
- Should not be used to make decisions related to employment, education, medical treatment, or any other consequential purpose
- May vary across multiple attempts due to factors like focus, fatigue, and familiarity with question types

4. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the App for commercial purposes without written permission
- Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices
5. User Conduct
You agree not to use the App in any way that:

- Attempts to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Misrepresents your IQ results to others in a harmful or deceptive manner
6. Advertising
The App displays advertisements served by Unity Ads. These ads help us keep the App free. By using the App, you agree to the display of advertisements. Ad content is governed by Unity's policies and not within our direct control.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to question content, design, graphics, and branding — are owned by Maxxer IQ and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAXXER IQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim (which in most cases will be zero, as the App is free).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maxxer IQ and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete the App at any time to terminate your use.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States. If you are located in the EU, you may also have rights under EU consumer protection law.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
